This Privacy Policy explains how Prodigy Educations ("we", "us", "our"), an online Cambridge O Level, A Level and IGCSE academy based in Karachi, Pakistan, collects and uses information when you use the Prodigy LMS mobile application and website (lms.prodigyeducations.com).

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
• Student records — the courses (batches) you are enrolled in, your quiz attempts, assignment submissions, and learning progress.
• AI tutor content — the questions, messages and any files or photos you send to the in-app AI Tutor, so it can answer you.
• Usage & device data — basic technical information such as app version, device type and interactions, used to keep the app working and secure.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the learning platform: enrolment, course content, quizzes, assignments and progress tracking.
• To operate the AI Tutor and study tools.
• To send you notifications about new lessons, content or announcements.
• To secure accounts, prevent misuse, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share limited data only with trusted providers that help us run the app:

• Google Sign-In — for secure login/authentication.
• Supabase — authentication service.
• Hostinger — secure hosting of the platform and database.
• AI providers (Google Gemini and Groq) — your AI Tutor messages are sent to these services to generate a reply. Do not share sensitive personal details in AI chats.

4. Students & Minors

Our students may be under 18. We collect only the information needed for education, and student accounts are created and managed in connection with enrolment at Prodigy Educations. Parents or guardians may contact us to review or remove a student's data.

5. Data Security & Retention

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We keep your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and then delete or anonymise it.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or ask us to close your account, at any time by contacting us using the details below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows when it was last revised.
